Vers une nouvelle ruralité ? [ Towards a new rurality? ] - The film

The film Vers une nouvelle ruralité ?, directed by Camille Van Durme and commissioned by the ICA (Institut Culturel d'Architecture Wallonie-Bruxelles) in september 2024, explores the rural territories of Wallonia. This road movie reports on the architectural walks organised by the ICA during the summer of 2024 and heralds the autumn meetings. The videographer observes the way these living environments are viewed, listens to what is at stake in these territories and transmits the visions developed by Belgian architects, urban planners and landscape architects who are accompanying the transition to a new rurality.
