The artistic and financial direction of the ICA is overseen by Audrey Contesse, initiator and driving force behind the project. Audrey Contesse is an architect, historian, and architectural critic. For the past fifteen years, she has dedicated her professional career to promoting high-quality architecture and its cultural dissemination — first as editor-in-chief of A+ Architecture in Belgium, and subsequently through various publications and exhibitions.
Stéphanie Van Doosselaere

Stéphanie Van Doosselaere is an architect by training. For more than fifteen years, she has been developing a practice at the interface between architecture, research, public policy and cultural action. Specialising in the inclusive and qualitative development of urban projects, she has taken a particular interest in neighbourhoods through action research projects carried out at the Faculty of Architecture of the ULB and the University of Liège, notably within the framework of European Interreg programmes (2018-22). Her work addresses themes such as sustainable transition, citizen participation, territorial governance and transnational cooperation. Since 2021, she has been in charge of cultural activities at the ICA and administrative management.
Adèle Decae

Adèle Decae is responsible for audience development and cultural initiatives. Having previously worked in the visual and performing arts, she now engages with a variety of audiences on issues relating to architecture, infrastructure and the built environment. For her, ICA is the ideal place for developing outreach projects so that everyone — regardless of their relationship with the built environment — feels involved and empowered to take an active role in the issues that shape their daily lives.
Romy Berger

Romy Berger is the communications coordinator. Photographer by training, she is in charge of creating and managing content for social networks, the website and communications campaigns. With a wealth of experience in the visual arts, cultural mediation and arts teaching, Romy Berger has chosen to devote her visual expertise and passion for communication and architecture to the projects supported by the ICA.
