This series, commissioned as part of the publication of the ICA pedagogical dossier in early 2021, is presented in the form of a poster illustrating the chapter of the book devoted to the habitat. It consists of a series of exercises on ways of living and different types of habitat in Belgium and around the world. The workshops presented in this book are aimed at all schools in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the ICA audience and members of the public wishing to deepen their knowledge of architecture. François Lichtlé's work illustrates different types of housing typical of the Belgian landscape. The viewer is invited to reflect on the diversity of habitats, but above all of lifestyles. This survey invites us to think ahead: what kind of future can we imagine for housing, based on what makes up today's dwellings?
A project presented for the first time in the exhibition "L'architecture monte dans les tours", which took place in September 2021 at the Eden Cultural Centre in Charleroi.
